Interesting and stimulating talk given by Breed Director on the use of registered, purebred, performance tested bulls versus crossbred bulls. Angus crossbred Brahman cattle were viewed thereafter with a judging competition held. The Angus crossbred calves were the heaviest.
10 March 2006Angus Beef Expo, CathcartA truly fascinating experience where 1 000 Angus steaks were sold in ONE day! Day was organised by Chris Purdon of Veejay Angus, the biggest supplier of performance tested, registered Angus bulls in the Eastern Cape.
